Kaylee is a rising Junior at Garner Magnet High School. She swam with the Eagle Ridge Swim Team for 3 years. In 2021 Kaylee decided to focus her 100% attention on the coaching side of swimming. She was a vital part of the team as a Junior Coach and played an instrumental role in the growth and development of our 6&U swimmers. Kaylee also babysits for numerous families in Eagle Ridge and is CPR/First Aid Certified. During the offseason, Kaylee is an active member of her school's drama club. She also loves animals, reading and painting. Kaylee can't wait to get back in the water and help all of our Junior Eagles learn to "Soar"!
Grace is 17 and a rising Senior at Garner Magnet High School where she began swimming her Freshman year. She has also been a member of the Soaring Eagles since 2018. When she isn’t swimming for GMHS or the Soaring Eagles, you can find her tearing it up on the soccer field for the Varsity team, taking an active role in her Youth Group, or hanging out with her younger sister. Swimming has been an instrumental influence on Grace and she is looking forward to mentoring her little sister and all the other Junior Eagles this year! She is so excited to have the best season yet!
Carter is a rising Sophomore at Vernon Malone College and Careers Academy where he will be studying in their Bio-Pharmaceutical Technology program. He has been swimming for the Eagle Ridge Swim Team since 2018 and in 2021 Carter was a kid catcher, helped with younger age group practices, and was the recipient of the Coach's Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship. In 2022 he as an asset as one of our Junior Coaches. This year he is so excited to move up to the position of Assistant Coach. He also swims year-round for Raleigh Swimming Association and hopes to continue swimming all the way through college. When Carter is not swimming, you will most likely find him playing some sort of musical instrument. While his main focus is the alto saxophone, he also plays the tenor and bass clarinet, baritone saxophone, keyboard, and accordion. He is also learning to play the guitar when he has spare time. Carter has been an influential role model for his 2 younger siblings and loves to share his passion for swimming and music with them.
Carter is so excited to be back in the water this year and ready to teach your little ones all he knows!
Coy, or C4 as some know him in ER, is a rising sophomore at Cardinal Gibbons High School. He is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society for his academic excellence and volunteering. This will be Coy's eighth year with the Soaring Eagles. He also swims year-round for MOR, the Marlins of Raleigh swim team.
Coy is a leader. He is the first one up in the morning ready to train, and sets goals for himself working hard to achieve them. He loves to swim and wants to share the knowledge he has gained with others. He strives to make others better by leading by example.
Coy is a leader at swim, school, and home.
He is a strong swimmer, a striving student, a faithful son and brother, and a loyal friend. Coy is honored to be an Assistant Coach this summer for the Soaring Eagles.
